CHRISTMAS CAROLS
Hounslow Holy Trinity Church
21st of December
Participating in this event is not only an exciting opportunity but also a significant responsibility, especially as it is organised by a third party. This year marks the third time our children will showcase their talents, and the first time that Hounslow Holy Trinity Church has invited us to perform at their International Christmas Carols event.
Your child’s involvement offers a valuable opportunity for personal growth while also contributing to a meaningful and shared community experience.
Please consider the following information to ensure a smooth experience
Address: 6 High St, Hounslow TW3 1HG
Arriving by Car
You may travel by car if you prefer. Please note that there is no free parking available at the church, so we recommend checking parking options in the surrounding area in advance. If you plan to come by car, please send a message to 07398 171177 to inform us as soon as possible.
Arriving by Bus
For those travelling by bus, we will meet at Ealing Broadway Underground Station at 1:45 pm and take the first available E8 bus together.
We will have a stage rehearsal upon arrival. Therefore, the clo7thes children wear when they arrive should be suitable for rehearsal. Leggings and T-shirts are the best option.
Please note that you will need to bring two costumes.
• The first dance, Angels We Have Heard on High, requires a white dress, white mitts, a transparent overskirt, and a feathered headband.
• The second dance, Jingle Bells, requires red dresses and a red rose as a hair accessory.
We recommend that children arrive wearing leggings and a t-shirt. Please avoid dresses and jeans.
Ensure that your child’s ballet shoes are clean, properly fitted, and that the ribbons are securely fastened.
Ballet tights should be clean, free of holes, and without visible stitches.
Please try the costumes on at home in advance to ensure they fit your child comfortably. If the white dress is a little too long, kindly adjust the straps as needed.
We would also appreciate it if you could remember the accessories for the performance: a red rose, a white feathered hairband, two white mitts, and a transparent overskirt with a feathered border.
Please make sure your child does not wear any jewelry, has unpainted nails, and has no face paint or temporary tattoos.
Kindly avoid using any hair accessories and select a hair elastic that matches your child’s hair color.
Visits the Ballet Bun – Tutorial link if you need guidance on how to make a ballet hairstyle for your child.
The event starts at 4:00 pm. Angels is scheduled for approximately 4:10 pm in the programme, and Jingle Bells is scheduled for 5:30 pm. This allows enough time for the children to change costumes between the two dances.
Please bring a ballet cardigan for your child to wear over their costume while waiting between performances. If you do not have a cardigan, please bring an alternative top that buttons or zips fully down the front.
This is a free event and everyone is welcome. Please feel free to invite your friends and relatives to join us.
Once we finish Jingle Bells, you are welcome to leave the event if you wish. However, you are also very welcome to stay until the end, as there is usually tea, coffee, and some snacks available free of charge.
You may return the costume at the end of the event or at the first class after the holidays.
We believe that participating in events like the Christmas Carols offers an excellent opportunity for our students to refine their dance skills and gain valuable experience. Every step taken on stage, especially in front of an unfamiliar audience, helps build confidence and instills a sense of pride in your child’s heart. These moments are not only meaningful but also create lasting memories to be cherished for a lifetime.
Thank you for your support, and we look forward to creating and sharing beautiful memories together.
