About EMBS

At EM Ballet School in West London we combine the Vaganova style of Classical Russian Ballet with the International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA) approach. This blend allows students to build a strong foundation in classical ballet while benefiting from the structured techniques of the IDTA syllabus.

The music we choose for our ballet classes is an important part of the learning process. From the very start, it helps children develop a love for classical music. Young children who join our school are fully introduced to the magical world of ballet. Listening to composers like Tchaikovsky or Saint-Saëns makes their lessons enjoyable and inspiring.

Our program is carefully designed to give students a complete ballet education, helping them develop skills and a lifelong appreciation for this wonderful art.

Work in a group as this helps develop communication and collaboration skills.

Focus on the process without parental presence; therefore children smoothly adapt to independence.

Learn how to listen  to the teacher and fulfil tasks which fosters the first steps in self-discipline skills development.

Remember dance movements while listening to music. Your memory skills will improve and creative thinking will develop.

Overall physical training and improvement of body coordination and many more extra benefits
