SCOOTERS & BUGGIES
If you arrive with a scooter or buggy, please park them in the designated area. Kindly avoid bringing them into the children’s play or ballet areas.
ARRIVAL
Please avoid arriving too early, as access to the venue is only permitted when the teacher is present.
Always close the door behind you when entering or leaving the premises to help maintain security and comfort inside.
Clothing & Shoe Guide
We know how much little girls love wearing beautiful dresses, and your child may ask for a pink ballet leotard. Please note that we kindly ask parents not to purchase ballet uniforms from Decathlon or similar brands.
If you decide to continue with regular classes, all students are required to wear our school’s official uniform. Wearing a uniform is an important part of building discipline, which is essential for progress in ballet.
For the trial class, your child can wear leggings and a t-shirt. Socks with rubber soles (a good option for the first lesson)
If you prefer, you may buy ballet shoes for the trial. Please make sure they are pink in colour and made of cotton or canvas (leather shoes are not suitable for young dancers)
Ballet shoes should fit securely but not too snugly — a little comfort is fine, even though children grow quickly. They must always be worn with tights or socks, never on bare feet.
BATHROOM USE
Please ask your child to use the toilet before the class. This will help them to stay focused and engaged
HAIR GUIDELINE
For the trial class hairstyle, we kindly ask that children come with their hair neatly tied up. Ideally, hair should be styled in a classic ballet bun, as this keeps it secure and helps your child focus on dancing. For the first class, a simple ponytail is also acceptable. Please avoid loose hair, as it can get in the way during movement and become distracting.
LEAVING THE HALL & TOYS USE
We kindly ask that you and your child leave the premises soon after the ballet class finishes, as the hall is shared with another group. Please note that the nursery toys and equipment are not available for use before or after class.
OBSERVATION
You may think the trial class is mainly for your child, but it is also an important opportunity for parents. Young children, especially those aged 3–5 and those who have never attended ballet classes before, often do not yet understand what ballet is or why they are there.
The trial class allows parents to meet the teacher, observe the atmosphere, and see how the class is structured. It is also a chance to watch other children who have been attending for some time and to imagine what your child may achieve after a few years of training.
Please feel free to stay and observe the session. If your child is shy or reluctant to join the group, please do not push or drag them. You are welcome to dance together with your child or simply comfort them while sitting and watching. Children need time to feel comfortable, build trust, and connect with the teacher, the other children, and the new environment.
GUIDELINE VIDEO
For more clarity, please watch the short video below demonstrating where to leave shoes and how to use the space appropriately.
ARRIVING LATE? PLEASE READ!
Please note that if you arrive late after other parents have dropped off their children and left, the entrance door may be locked from the inside. In this situation, there may be no one available to let you in, as the teacher is unable to hear the doorbell during classes due to the music, and no other adults may be present to answer the door.
To avoid disruption and ensure your child can join the class on time, please make every effort to arrive promptly.
We greatly appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep the venue clean, safe, and respectful for all children and families.
