Please take a moment to carefully read the provided information about the performance at Nazareth House from top to bottom to ensure you don’t miss any important details.
Date: December 14th (Sunday)
Meet Up Time: 12 PM
Back Arrival Time: Aprox. 5:30 PM
Firstly, we encourage you to remind your children to practice their dances at home, as the performance at Nazareth House is a significant part of their learning experience, and we want them to shine on stage.
Here is a BALLET PLAYBOOK for children to practice their dances at home.
Your support makes a big difference—thank you!
Transportation to the Performance at Nazareth House:
We will meet up at Ealing Broadway Underground station at 12 PM and take public transport, presumably the District Line, to get to the event. If TFL is going on strike, we will use public buses. We kindly ask everybody not to be late as we are getting the train at 12:05 pm.
Hairstyle:
Children should arrive with their hair styled in a ballet ban. We kindly ask for your assistance in ensuring your child’s hairstyle is elegant, neat, and reflective of the grace of ballet. Visit the ballet bun tutorial for guidance.
Dress Code:
We will have a rehearsal before the performance, so please ensure your child wears comfortable clothing, such as leggings, and avoids dresses and jeans. Please, dress your child in clothing with front buttons or zippers that are easy to put on and take off without damaging the hairstyle.
Accessories:
Please be mindful that accessories such as watches and jewellery require extra attention and take time to remove before the performance. To avoid the risk of losing them in a rush, kindly explain to your child not to wear them.
Make-Up:
We suggest that all parents whose children often take part in performances purchase a lipstick, so the children can use the same colour and look in unison when dancing together on stage. This also means they won’t need to share it. To see the lipstick, please visit the link: LIPSTICK. Please select “Ink Crayon 50”
What to Bring:
Please pack ballet shoes and water bottle in a bag and don’t forget to bring a plastic bag for children to store their outdoor clothes and shoes.
Refreshment:
After the concert, children will be offered complimentary sandwiches, snacks, and beverages. Parents, please take a moment to teach your children at home about eating carefully and being mindful of their costumes to avoid any spills or stains.
After the Performance:
We will go to the sanctuary to take photos. You may pick up your child and leave at that point, or you can stay with the group and travel back to Ealing together.
For children attending the event without a parent, we will send a WhatsApp message to the contact number you provided when registering. This message will let you know that we are about to begin our journey back to the collection point – Ealing Broadway Underground Station.
Programme
Children who have two costumes should wear the purple dresses at the beginning of the performance and change into the second dress immediately after the Flower Waltz (N: 03).
