REHEARSAL STUDIO
Dear Parents,
This is a special space where our little ballerinas can revisit the dances they’re learning in class and practice at home.
Each dance we learn in class tells a little story — about nature, animals, or magical adventures — helping children express feelings and imagination through movement.
In the videos below, We’ve included pictures that connect with the story and help the children remember each step. We watched these videos together in our last class before the half-term break, and the children enjoyed recognising their dances.
We encourage parents to show these videos at home so the children can continue practising independently during the two-week break and keep the joy of dancing alive!
Make dance practice a joyful part of your day! Ask your child for a little evening performance, or let them “teach” the dance to siblings or parents. This playful rehearsal helps them remember the steps, build confidence, and enjoy dancing even more — all while sharing the fun with the whole family.
The scarecrow lady stands in the field, smiling. She greets the sun and waves to the clouds in the sky. Suddenly, a mother crow flies by.
“I am a mother crow,” said the crow. “I have little ones. Can I have some straw to build a home for them?”
The kind scarecrow gives her a basket, and the crow fills it with straw. Then she flies away.
The scarecrow lady continues her days in the field, meeting the sun each morning and waving to the clouds, as always.
Once upon a time, a princess woke up, put on her crown and pretty dress, and looked in the mirror.
She went to the park, picked some flowers, and smelled them… and soon she fell fast asleep!
In her dream, she found herself alone in a dark forest, looking for friends. She saw four little birds in the trees, but no one else.
Then, suddenly, millions of tiny fireflies appeared, sparkling all around her and gently waking her up from her dream.
The butterfly shows one wing, then the other, and finally both of her beautiful wings.
She flies all around the meadow and lands on a flower. She shows her wings and twirls her skirt again and again.
Then she sees her friend and decides to play together.
At the end, the butterfly spins quickly around the meadow and flies away
