Achieving new heights is not easy, but if you work hard, a reward will find you.
So, our 10-days summer ballet camp is over and we learnt a ton. The biggest difference between the camp and regular classes was the opportunity to practice and reinforce what we learned. With classes every day, the kids didn’t have time to forget what they learned the class before. We didn’t waste time reviewing, we just focused on improving on what we already knew.
It is well known, the more a kid knows, the better they are at remembering and learning new things. Every child saw a result of their hard work quickly, and that led to a better understanding of the whole process. This boost in confidence led to a desire to achieve new heights.
As a result the children’ back and arms muscles got so strong that they could do “bridge” without any help from a teacher. They knew that stretching was painful, but they learned how far they each can go without hearting themselves. The children also had a ton of fun dancing together, and they learned how to feel their partner and be a comfortable partner.
In recognition of everyone’s hard work and growth during intensive ballet camp, the children were awarded certificates of appreciation.
And the grand finale – they got treated to some Chupa Chups sweetness. Epic, right?
We so proud of ourselves for achieving new heights in our ballet skills during summer ballet camp. We can’t wait to continue our journey and see how far we can go.
