Ballet Examination 2025

Late arrivals will unfortunately not be allowed to sit the ballet examination. Payment for the exam will not be refunded.

Dear All,

Here are some key details about the upcoming ballet examination on 4th October 2025. Please note that the time given is provisional, though any changes are expected to be minor. We kindly ask parents to check regularly for updates.

Uniform:
  • Rosettes & Primary: rose skirted leotard, pink ballet tights, ballet shoes.
  • Grade 1 – 4: mulberry leotard, pink ballet tights, ballet shoes

Hair to be styled in a knot on top of the head. Hair clips and bands to be of a similar colour to the hair.
No bijou or nail varnish.

  • All students are to arrive at the appointed time. We will let children in through the entrance at the reception.

To All Parents:

A huge request – enter only if you need to use the loo (only a smaller toilet will be available).
Make sure scooters and buggies are parked appropriately and they do not block the passage.

To avoid chaos and confusion, ensure all students style their hair at home and wear their uniform before arriving at the event. In case you won’t have an opportunity to do so, you will have an opportunity to help them change at the reception. However, please, try to arrive fully prepared.

IMPORTANT  – Children, wearing uniform of other schools or ballet associations will not be admitted and exam fee will not be refunded.

Other things to bear in mind for ballet school exam:
  1. All students need to go to the loo before the exam.
  2. Uniform must be clean and presentable. Ensure that you attach all the elastic bands properly.
  3. If your ballet shoes have laces, tie them into a bow and fasten.
  4. Underwear should not peek out of the leotard. It’s best if undies are of the beige/ nude colour, with high waist and high leg. You might use those later for our performances.
  5. Also, find time to sign your child’s water bottle to avoid further mix up and do not fill it up to the brim. Give the bottle to your little one before they enter the exam.
The Exam finishes at:
  • Rosettes: 4:15 pm
  • Pre-Primary: 4:30 pm
  • Primary: 5:00 pm
  • Grade 1: 5:30 pm
  • Grade 3: 5:50 pm

All students will leave through the door at the reception.
