On 21st December, our ballet school proudly took part in the International Town Carols. Holy Trinity Church in Hounslow organises the carols every year; however, this was the first international edition. The event filled the town with music, warmth, and a joyful spirit of togetherness.
Three of our young dancers represented the school with grace and confidence. They performed to the much-loved Christmas carols “Angels We Have Heard on High” and “Jingle Bells.” Their performance added to a vibrant multicultural Christmas celebration that brought people from different backgrounds together.
This event marked a special milestone for our school, as we joined a community celebration in Hounslow for the first time. Firstly, the children gained valuable performing experience beyond the studio. Secondly, they danced in a public space, connected with a live audience, and shared in the joy of a festive community moment.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the parents. The invitation to take part arrived at very short notice, yet families responded with enthusiasm and kindness. Parents organised everything quickly and willingly, making it possible for the children to participate. Therefore, without their support and flexibility, this performance simply would not have happened.
We proudly support local events that unite the community and give young dancers opportunities to grow, not only as performers but also as confident and expressive individuals. We thank the organisers for creating such a welcoming atmosphere and for inviting our students to take part in this beautiful Christmas celebration.
