A Cherished Tradition
On the 5th of April 2025, we took part in what has now become a cherished tradition — our annual performance at Nazareth Care Home in Hammersmith. This marked the fifth time we have visited to bring the joy of dance to its residents and celebrate the upcoming Easter together.
Bringing Dance, Joy, and Community Together
We are so proud to say that this year’s performance was truly special. It united three dance styles and brought together 40 children from Ealing, Twickenham, and Hounslow. Our school, in collaboration with Anita Dance Studio and Koziolek Folk Dance Group, filled the stage with a vibrant and magical atmosphere.
Folk, modern, and classical music echoed warmly throughout the hall, creating a sense of happiness and celebration. The youngest dancers, sharing their love of dance and friendship, fulfilled their mission by spreading pure joy, energy, and laughter.
Parents, children, care home staff, and the heads of the dance groups — gave their hearts to bring this performance to life. Moreover, it lasted more than an hour without any intervals. And although the youngest performers were tired by the end, they were also glowing with pride and delight.
Looking Ahead with Gratitude and Excitement
We’re also excited to share a little secret. This performance was a wonderful rehearsal for a much bigger event coming next month. Furthermore, on the 31st May we are having a grand finale celebrating friendship, joy, and collaboration.
Therefore, this annual performance has truly become a cherished tradition for all of us. The moments of connection, creativity, and community we look forward to each year.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Anita Dyulgerova, director of Anita Dance Studio, and also to Marta Florczyk, the head of Koziolek Folk Dance Group. Their unwavering enthusiasm and dedication have made this unforgettable event possible.
May this beautiful collaboration continue to flourish and bring joy for many years to come.
